De l’hospitalité sociologique à l’hospitalité narrative : quels dispositifs de médiation ?

Abstract
Le film Donner la parole de Raymond Depardon présente les portraits de personnes dont la langue, la culture et l’identité sont au seuil de la disparition. Pourrait-on interpréter cette œuvre comme un dispositif de médiation réinventant le geste d’hospitalité à l’époque de la globalisation ? Mais alors en quels sens et pour quels effets ? C’est ce que cette contribution souhaite explorer en prenant ce documentaire comme un véhicule de découverte des conceptions de l’hospitalité de deux auteurs en sciences sociales : Pierre Bourdieu et Paul Ricœur. Cette analyse nous conduit à formuler l’hypothèse que les contributions de ces auteurs à la thématique de l’hospitalité – comme dispositif d’hospitalité sociologique pour le premier ; comme dispositif d’hospitalité narrative pour le second – se déploient entre les pôles de l’hospitalité-mêmeté et de l’hospitalité-altérité et qu’elles présentent une convergence inattendue sur les potentiels de la médiation artistique.
