RESUMO O artigo em tela trata, grosso modo, de questões que articulam a biopolítica à educação no contexto das sociedades de controle. Para fins de delimitação dessa ampla e complexa temática, restringe seu intuito à tentativa de identificar, descrever, articular e problematizar quatro vetores considerados estratégicos ao agenciamento entre biopolítica e educação, sobretudo, ao governo e à regulação das condutas na contemporaneidade. Para tanto, parte da premissa de que, desde o advento de uma governamentalidade neoliberal, tanto de caráter ordoliberal quanto de matiz estadunidense, colocou-se em marcha, particularmente nas sociedades ocidentais, um amplo e intensivo processo de empresariamento da sociedade. Este, dentre outras coisas, teve por efeito reorganizar e redefinir o que tradicionalmente se tem entendido por educação desde a Modernidade. Tais transformações remetem a um novo agenciamento, educativo-empresarial, que opera a partir da articulação simultânea entre o desempenho (performance), a gestão (management), a visibilidade e as novas tecnologias da informação e da comunicação (TICs). De outra parte, em termos teórico-metodológicos, as argumentações são desenvolvidas e concatenadas em estreito diálogo com formulações de autores como Michel Foucault, Gilles Deleuze, Richard Sennett, Alain Ehremberg, Vicent de Gaulejac, Christian Laval e Paula Sibilia, dentre outros.
