les enseignants curieux de s'informer et pour les universitaires moins familiers de la didactique de l'histoire.Ce livre se trouve donc à mi-chemin entre vulgarisation scientifique et manifeste.Les propos sont très clairement exposés et, bien qu'il s'agisse d'un recueil de textes issus de divers auteurs, l'articulation logique et la cohérence entre les chapitres sont parmi les forces de ce livre.Le fait qu'il s'agisse d'un manifeste où les auteurs exposent des prises de position ayant été précédemment défendues dans d'autres textes peut rendre cette lecture redondante pour ceux qui connaissent le domaine de la didactique de l'histoire au Québec.Toutefois, pour un lecteur extérieur ou néophyte, c'est un résumé très clair et accessible des positions défendues par ces didacticiens.
