Abstract
This thesis deals with the phenomenon of divorce. It consists of a theoretical part and practical. The theoretical part introduces the basic concepts and its main chapters are chronologically, according to the classical model of the current phase of the divorce. Chapters are devoted to the causes of divorce, divorce proceedings, during the post-divorce situation and possible intervention and ways to prevent divorce. The practical part consists of qualitative research, where I as a key research method chosen semi-structured interview, conducted with three basic participants of divorce proceedings, Thus woman, man and child, self-reflection on the respondent in the divorce period, Vancouver questionnaire and group scheme of Professor Ferdinand Knobloch, in order to ensure validity of research data.
