Abstract
Cet article présente les utilisations humaines en zones humides littorales de Guadeloupe dans les Antilles françaises. A partir d’une méthode variée de collectes de données (observations de terrain, relevés d’indices et enquêtes) définie depuis 2003, il expose un état des lieux de l’anthropisation : sa nature, la variabilité spatiale des utilisations et leurs caractéristiques sociales. Puis l’analyse des déterminants écologiques, sociaux et réglementaires de gestion permet d’aborder une évolution de situations pouvant aller jusqu’à des conflits sur le terrain. Enfin le relevé d’impacts environnementaux souligne la vulnérabilité de l’écosystème mangrove et la valeur socio-économique de ces utilisations, n’obéissant pas toujours aux objectifs de développement durable et aux exigences écologiques.
