Abstract
L’auteur fait d’abord valoir que le « post-factualisme » et la « post-vérité », que d’aucuns observent à la suite du Brexit au Royaume-Uni et de l’élection de Donald Trump à la présidence des États-Unis, peuvent être analysés à la lumière d’une distinction entre les rapports distincts à la réalité qu’entretiennent l’information et la communication. Ensuite, il avance que ce sont des phénomènes qui ne sont pas nouveaux en journalisme et dans le discours politique. Il en propose enfin une catégorisation en trois types différents : le faux, l’approximatif et le baratin.
