Cette recherche vise à adapter unModèle initialde la compétence interculturelle des directions d’établissement scolaire de langue française au Québec et au Nouveau-Brunswick. La méthode des entretiens de groupe a été employée lors de rencontres avec sept directions d’établissement au Québec et 17, au Nouveau-Brunswick. Une analyse de contenu a montré que, dans l’ensemble, les indicateurs des composantesConnaissances,AttitudesetHabiletésduModèle initialétaient bien adaptés au contexte des deux provinces. Cependant, six indicateurs ont été ajoutés afin de permettre une meilleure adaptation duModèle initialau contexte des dites provinces. Cette recherche permet donc de présenter unModèle adaptéde la compétence interculturelle des directions d’établissement scolaire de langue française au Québec et au Nouveau-Brunswick qui peut servir d’outil d’(auto)formation.
