Abstract
The combination of a calcinuerin inhibitor (CNI) with methotrexate (MTX) remains the gold standard for GVHD prevention, however is associated with several toxicities. Although the combination of a CNI and mycophenolate mofetil (MMF) has been widely used, there is limited and conflicting data on the actual efficacy of MMF compared to MTX in myeloablative transplantation.
