Abstract
Since the development of tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKIs), the prognosis for patients with chronic myeloid leukemia (CML) has markedly improved with most patients surviving on lifelong TKI. However, given rarity of pediatric CML, there are few reports on response outcomes especially late effects in children. Data are extrapolated from adult patients although the host factors are different in children and the exposure of TKIs is expected to be much longer. We conducted a multicenter retrospective study in 143 pediatric CML patients at six centers.
