Abstract
L’étude de la violence en Institut thérapeutique éducatif et pédagogique (ITEP) nous a amenés à croiser le regard sur ce phénomène des enfants ou jeunes accueillis, de leurs parents et des professionnels des établissements et à reconsidérer l’expérience subjective qui en est faite par chacun. Dès lors, apparaissent au fondement de cette violence ressentie, les processus de stigmatisation et d’enfermement dans une catégorie médicale subis par les usagers, et le défaut de pouvoir et l’impuissance où évoluent les professionnels.
