Abstract
L’auteure propose une réflexion sur la sous-théorisation actuelle, par les féministes, du travail domestique non rémunéré. Dussuet retrace d’abord la conceptualisation de cette activité en termes de « travail domestique » et de rapports sociaux de production, durant les années 70 où elle occupe une place centrale dans le modèle d’activité des femmes. Puis, l’auteure montre les effets d’une analyse en termes de care , centrée sur le contenu du travail et l’engagement subjectif, à partir de la fin des années 80, pendant une période de montée de l’activité féminine salariée et d’externalisation de certaines tâches par les politiques publiques à la recherche de « gisements d’emploi ».
