Abstract
Dans cet article severe et rigoureux, Diane Shklanka evalue la presence de stereotypes culturels dans huit albums illustres mettant en scene des personnages orientaux. Elle en conclut que, malgre les efforts evidents des auteurs et illustrateurs, les orientaux sont le plus souvent presentes comme des etres passifs, gregaires, etrangement identiques dans leurs caracteristiques physiques.
