Abstract
Facteur structurel du système toulousain d’action publique dont il contribue à assurer la stabilité, le rugby tend à maintenir la dimension socio-éducative de celui-ci dans une forme d’entre-soi confinant à l’immobilisme. Adossée à la « grande famille du rugby » sans en être partie prenante, l’association socio-sportive Rebonds ! joue la différence et développe des actions éducatives sollicitant le rugby distinctes des clubs et de la logique fédérale. Prestataire des collectivités locales, elle intervient prioritairement auprès des établissements scolaires des quartiers populaires identifiés par la politique de la Ville. Concevant l’éducation comme une socialisation méthodique à même de permettre l’articulation des dispositions des jeunes rugbymen d’origine populaire à une variété de contextes fréquentés, elle oeuvre à la fabrication d’une citoyenneté du quotidien.
