Back Cover: In article number 1700783 by Shaoming Fang, Haifeng Yu, and co-workers, hierarchically self-assembled sub-10 nm structures are successfully obtained inside phase-separated poly(ethylene oxide) (PEO) nanocylinders in amphiphilic liquid-crystalline BCs (LCBCs), with the existence of hydrogen bonds and without any dopants. The introduced urethane groups interfere with the PEO crystallization, leading to the coexistence of crystalline and amorphous domains in the PEO phase and demonstrating shish-kebab-like lamellar nanostructures.
