Abstract
Les formidables et récentes avancées des sciences, notamment en biologie moléculaire, en physiologie ou encore en paléontologie, remettent radicalement en cause la conception que nous nous faisons de la sexuation qui diviserait en deux catégories étanches les êtres vivants en général, et les êtres humains en particulier. C’est pourquoi il aura fallu attendre le xxi e siècle pour pouvoir, dans le sillage de Freud qui retraçait avec les découvertes de Copernic, Darwin, et sa propre théorisation de l’inconscient, les trois humiliations majeures infligées au narcissisme de l’humanité par l’investigation scientifique, en rajouter une quatrième : celle que la science est en train d’administrer sous nos yeux à un ordre patriarcal toujours dominant.
