Abstract
Proses kehamilan yang fisiologis dapat berubah sewaktu-waktu menjadi patologis yang dapat disebabkan oleh faktor ibu maupun janin diantaranya adalah letak sungsang. Salah satu faktor penyebab letak sungsang adalah multiparitas. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis hubungan paritas ibu bersalin dengan kejadian letak sunsang di BPS Suhartatik Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Talang. Desain yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah penelitian korelasi secara crossectional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini ibu hamil TM III di BPS Suhartatik wilayah kerja Puskesmas Talang. Teknik pengambilan sampel dengan probability sampling dengan simple random sampling, dengan jumlah sampel 37 ibu hamil trimester III. Berdasarkan tabulasi silang ibu dengan primigravida hampir seluruhnya tidak terjadi letak sungsang, setelah dianalisa menggunakan uji statistik Coefisien Contigensi maka didapatkan hasil X2hitung(12,20) >X2tabel(5,991) sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada hubungan antara paritas ibu hamil dengan kejadian letak sungsang. Untuk mencegah kehamilan dengan letak sungsang bisa diberikan selama antenatal care sebelum usia kehamilan 28 minggu, bidan / pelayan kesehatan harus memberikan penyuluhan kepada ibu hamil bahwa ibu dapat membantu mengubah posisi janin dengan cara melakukan senam hamil dengan rutin. Senam hamil efektif jika dilakukan sampai usia kehamilan 34 minggu (pada kehamilan pertama) sampai 36 minggu (kehamilan kedua dan seterusnya), selain itu menganjurkan ibu untuk berperan aktif dalam program KB sehingga terbentuk keluarga yang berkualitas dengan 2 anak cukup yang artinya dapat mengurangi jumlah paritas dan mengurangi kejadian letak sungsang
