Abstract
Latar Belakang: Meningkatnya harapan hidup usia lanjut di Indonesia diikuti juga dengan meningkatnya angka kesakitan (morbidity), dan penurunan dari fungsi fisiologis tubuh pada usia lanjut. Salah satu masalah kesehatan tersebut adalah penurunan fungsi kognitif. Penurunan fungsi kognitif tersebut mempunyai dampak patologis pada usia lanjut sehinggga dapat menyebabkan usia lanjut jatuh dalam keadaan frailty. \nTujuan: Untuk menganalisis hubungan antara status kognitif dengan derajat frailty pada usia lanjut di Griya Santo Yosef Surabaya Tahun 2017. \nMetode: Jenis penelitian adalah analisis observasional dengan rancangan penelitian berupa cross sectional dan menggunakan teknik pengambilan sampel purposive sampling. Instrument yang digunakan adalah Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA) versi Indonesia dan FRAIL Scale. Data diperoleh dengan metode wawancara. Uji analitik dengan menggunakan uji Chi-Square Tests \nHasil: Didapatkan hubungan yang signifikan (p=0,000) dan memiliki kekuatan hubungan yang cukup (r=0,593) antara status kognitif dengan derajat frailty pada usia lanjut. \nKesimpulan: Disimpulkan terdapat hubungan anatara status kognitif dengan derajat frailty pada usia lanjut.
