Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

This thesis explores the feasibility of a hybrid metal-insulator-semiconductor (MIS) diode with poly(3,4-ethylendioxythiophene) (PEDOT) conductor for photovoltaic (PV) applications and advances the understanding of conductive polymers and their effects on hybrid systems.Had it not been for the support of family, friends, and colleagues, this thesis would not have come to be completed. To my supervisor, Dr. Steven McGarry, I thank you for sticking by my side through a process that seemed arduous at times. One exceptionally bright moment during my time as a graduate student was meeting my husband Ryan in the cubicle next door.He taught me that it's OK to be silly, brought me to tears in laughter, and continues to support me with love and understanding. To my parents, Dmitri and Galina, thank you for raising me to be stubborn enough to see this undertaking through.Thank you for being so understanding and for always

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. The Gemma side is a direct model label for every work in the frame, read from the title-only record. The Codex side is a classifier learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and calibrated to design-weighted sample rates; fields without enough sample support carry no Codex call. Candidate is the union of the two sides; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
