Abstract
We propose a spectrally efficient and cost-effective twin-SSB system based on Kramers-Kronig optical phase reconstruction, and demonstrate an 88.3Gbit/s net bitrate with 40GSa/s DACs over 80km SSMF at 1550nm with a BER threshold of 3.8e-3.
