Abstract
Le fantastique est une formulation théorique dont les perspectives sont nombreuses, diverses et parfois contradictoires. Mais dans ces multiples métamorphoses récentes, émerge un argument le plus cité, celui de l’hésitation entre les mondes réel et surnaturel selon la proposition de Todorov. Cet argument todorovien est-il toujours efficace dans la lecture des textes contemporains ? Le fantastique ne se renouvelle-t-il pas aujourd’hui avec d’autres figures qui transcendent la confrontation de deux mondes ? Cette réflexion explore ces deux interrogations en procédant à une étude de certains moments clés de l’évolution du fantastique, et en appliquant ces invariants sur un roman d’un auteur angolais.
