Abstract
Cet article examine le film Polytechnique (2009) de Denis Villeneuve en termes de sa création de versions. Cela signifie deux choses : D'abord la mise en version anglaise du film et ensuite sa création de trois points de vue séparés (masculin, féminin et celui du tueur) par lesquels l'expérience traumatique est rendue. L'article considère ensuite la façon avec laquelle l'articulation de la cohérence des trois points de vue dans une narration englobante dénie la spécificité de l'évènement de la même façon que la création de la version anglaise disloque son contexte matériel. L'article développe l'argument selon lequel la mise en version au cinéma est un aspect de la production qui demande à être pris au sérieux et situe cette argumentation aux côtés des nouvelles notions de reconstitution, de versions multiples simultanées et de narration ouverte qui sont rendues possibles par les médias émergeants.
