Abstract
Depuis son apparition dans les années 1970, l’écologie industrielle est considérée comme source de transformations profondes des pratiques industrielles à l’égard de l’environnement naturel, par la prise en compte du caractère limité des ressources naturelles et des dégâts occasionnés par la pollution. Son application repose sur différents principes, liés notamment à la disponibilité des flux, aux stratégies des acteurs privés et au soutien des acteurs publics. Dans cet article, nous nous intéressons plus particulièrement à quelques démarches urbaines d’écologie industrielle dans les pays nordiques, pour mettre en valeur l’importance de la question des enjeux environnementaux et les sources d’innovation technologique et organisationnelle que représentent ces démarches.
