La gestion du systeme de sante est un enjeu majeur de notre societe car elle concerne chacun des individus qui en fait partie. Au Quebec l'immobilisme gouvernemental combine aux attentes chaque fois plus importantes de la population relativement a une medecine de plus en plus complexe et onereuse ont nourri un mecontentement bien legitime. On parle souvent de « crise du systeme de sante » en proposant sans cesse l'alternative privee. Or les « crises » surviennent generalement par negligence ou parce qu'elles sont provoquees et entretenues. Et si c'etait un des buts inavoues ? Qui beneficie reellement de la privatisation de certains secteurs du systeme de sante ? Est-ce que la privatisation ou la semi-privatisation constitue reellement une solution aux problemes indiscutables du reseau public ? Le debat est complexe tout comme ses solutions mais necessaire car il implique un choix social politique et economique. Dans notre monde globalise les enjeux depassent souvent les frontieres nationales et les pressions qui viennent du monde corporatif multinational peuvent paraitre insurmontables?
