Abstract
La figure de l’hybridité traverse aujourd’hui la fiction, dans un univers social où les manipulations biomédicales et la génétique autant que les études de genre remettent en question diverses formes d’essentialisme, alors que le réseautage planétaire et le cyborg vont jusqu’à interroger la réalité humaine. Dans ce contexte, cet article se penche sur le roman Suréquipée, de Grégoire Courtois, qui pousse très loin la métaphore de l’anthropomorphisme, faisant d’une voiture une entité vivante, principal témoin dans une histoire de disparition. Une machine qui devient une sorte de monstre, de cyborg d’un genre particulièrement inusité.
