Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

Using $Z\ensuremath{\gamma}$ candidate events collected by the CDF detector at the Tevatron Collider, we search for potential anomalous (non-standard-model) couplings between the $Z$ boson and the photon. $Z\ensuremath{\gamma}$ couplings vanish at tree level and are heavily suppressed at higher orders; hence any evidence of couplings indicates new physics. Measurements are performed using data corresponding to an integrated luminosity of $4.9\text{ }\text{ }{\mathrm{fb}}^{\ensuremath{-}1}$ in the $Z\ensuremath{\rightarrow}\ensuremath{\nu}\overline{\ensuremath{\nu}}$ decay channel and $5.1\text{ }\text{ }{\mathrm{fb}}^{\ensuremath{-}1}$ in the $Z\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{l}^{+}{l}^{\ensuremath{-}}$ ($l=\ensuremath{\mu}$, $e$) decay channels. The combination of these measurements provides the most stringent limits to date on $Z\ensuremath{\gamma}$ trilinear gauge couplings. Using an energy scale of $\ensuremath{\Lambda}=1.5\text{ }\text{ }\mathrm{TeV}$ to allow for a direct comparison with previous measurements, we find limits on the $CP$-conserving parameters that describe $Z\ensuremath{\gamma}$ couplings to be $|{h}_{3}^{\ensuremath{\gamma},Z}|<0.022$ and $|{h}_{4}^{\ensuremath{\gamma},Z}|<0.0009$. These results are consistent with standard model predictions.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. The Gemma side is a direct model label for every work in the frame, read from the title-only record. The Codex side is a classifier learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and calibrated to design-weighted sample rates; fields without enough sample support carry no Codex call. Candidate is the union of the two sides; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
