Abstract
El Sindrome de Apnea obstructiva del Sueno (SAOS), se caracteriza por el colapso repetitivo e intermitente de las vias aereas altas esto conlleva a una obstruccion completa del flujo aereo que se define como apnea, acompanado de otras caracteristicas como ronquidos, somnolencia diurna y fatiga, por lo tanto el objetivo de la investigacion fue conocer la calidad de vida de las personas con este sindrome mediante el cuestionario Calgary Sleep Obstructive Apnea, validado en la version Espanola. Este fue aplicado en pacientes con SAOS que asistieron a la fundacion FOSUNAB. Los participantes de este estudio con diagnostico confirmado de SAOS, presentaron una calidad de vida disminuida. Con el presente estudio se realizaron aportes a la literatura.
