The management system of grading Opti-Grade FERIC reduces grading costs by measuring the state of the road continuously to identify the sections requiring more maintenance and to focus on maintenance these sections. Eighteen systems are already in use in Canada and the users report savings leveling of the order of 25%. Opti-Grade can also impact the state of the road transport speeds and justify the rehabilitation of problematic sections.
