Abstract
L’usinage de pièces comportant des parois minces est difficile à maîtriser car tes risques de broutements sont importants. L’instabilité de coupe générant ces broutements est une des principales causes de faible productivité et du non-respect de la qualité demandée. It est alors impératif de choisir des conditions de coupe permettant un usinage stable. Cependant, la stabilité est nécessaire mais pas toujours suffisante pour obtenir une surface de très bonne qualité. L’objectif de cet article est de mettre en avant l’influence du comportement dynamique de la pièce sur les défauts géométriques fréquemment rencontrés en usinage de parois minces avec des paramètres de coupe favorables à un usinage stable. Nous montrons que l’amplitude de ces défauts est particulièrement importante aux vitesses de rotation proche d’un sous multiple de la fréquence propre de la pièce. Cette étude permet alors d’optimiser les domaines de stabilité pour obtenir une surface répondant à la qualité demandée.
