Dans cet article, nous proposons que l’approche communicative soit un exemple d’une pédagogie de l’actuel dans l’enseignement du français Nous montrerons la comparaison entre les pédagogies passées et l’approche communicative, ses avantages et son importance pour enseigner le français en milieu minoritaire. Nous analyserons les enquêtes qualitatives et quantitatives menées en Amérique du Nord telles que Buors et Lentz (2009), Bouffard et Sarkar (2008), et Cormier (2004).
