Abstract
Manuel Canada es educador social. Fue secretario general del PCE de Extremadura desde 1992 hasta 1995 y Coordinador general de IU Extremadura entre 1995 y 2003. Desde 2003, su militancia se centra en los movimientos sociales, especialmente en los relacionados con la lucha contra el paro y la precariedad. Autor de La dignidad, ultima trinchera, antes habia publicado La huelga mas larga, un ensayo sobre la huelga y posterior resistencia de los yeseros de Badajoz.
