La place de la mobilisation des connaissances issues de la recherche (CIR) dans un processus de recherche-intervention réalisée auprès de secrétaires d’écoles primaires est au coeur de cet article. Les CIR ont été mobilisées afin d’appuyer la problématique et d’élaborer un questionnaire (n=30) pour faire émerger des éléments qualitatifs de leur travail. Par la suite, un entretien de groupe (n=6) a invité les participantes à discuter de la façon dont se passe leur travail au quotidien. À partir des réponses recueillies, une grille d’observation a été construite et deux séances d’observation in situ ont été réalisées. Grâce à cette méthode, des cycles itératifs de questions, de réflexion et d’action ont été effectués. Les résultats montrent l’importance de se soucier de la proximité et de la distance des CIR afin de proposer de nouvelles connaissances, mais aussi de recommander des innovations et des valeurs sures pour l’amélioration du travail des secrétaires.
