Chaque semaine, plusieurs personnes atteintes de troubles mentaux se présentent devant les tribunaux parce qu’elles sont accusées d’un délit. Compte tenu de leurs nombreuses vulnérabilités, il faut alors s’interroger sur le sens que prennent les actes qu’elles ont commis, les poursuites dont elles font l’objet, la peine qu’elles pourraient mériter et, en définitive, la privation de liberté qui les attend.
