Abstract
Actuellement au Québec, la méthode utilisée, dans la majorité des cas documentés, pour caractériser les paysages forestiers est basée sur les valeurs socio-économiques. La Commission régionale des ressources naturelles et du territoire (CRRNT) a identifié le besoin de documenter d'autres méthodes d'analyse et a mandaté des experts afin de réaliser une étude visant à répertorier et décrire les différentes méthodes de caractérisation de la sensibilité des paysages forestiers. Cette revue de littérature ne fait pas uniquement référence à des méthodes forestières, mais également à des méthodes analysant d'autres types de paysages. Ces méthodes pourraient inspirer l'élaboration de méthodes plus adaptées au milieu forestier ou répondre à d'autres besoins régionaux. Les méthodes sont classées selon cinq types de valeurs : socio-économiques, de perception, biophysiques, économiques et des valeurs multiples. Pour chacune des méthodes, un résumé définissant les grandes lignes et les différentes étapes pour sa réalisation est élaboré.
