Si tout le monde connait le nom de Montessori et l'associe a une methode pedagogique, peu de personnes, finalement, savent precisement ce que la methode peut apporter a leur enfant au quotidien. Ce livre presente la pedagogie Montessori : son historique, sa theorie et sa mise en pratique, clairement et simplement. Unique en son genre, cette pedagogie favorise la confiance en soi et l'autonomie, offrant a l'enfant la possibilite d'avancer a son rythme, en choisissant ses activites. Il s'agit avant tout d'un etat d'esprit qui ne considere pas l'enfant comme un adulte, que l'on modele, mais comme une personne a part entiere, que l'on accompagne, en la respectant profondement. Riche de nombreux temoignages, cet ouvrage propose egalement des activites facile a realiser avec vos enfants. Charlotte Poussin est educatrice Montessori, diplomee de l'Association Montessori Internationale. Elle a travaille en Argentine, au Bresil, en France et au Canada. Elle applique aussi les principes montessoriens avec ses quatre enfants.
