Abstract
Cette étude donne une présentation préliminaire de la céramique mise au jour lors des fouilles du Palais royal d’Ougarit menées par C. Schaeffer. Elle est fondée sur l’analyse des archives de la mission (inventaires et notes de fouille) et sur l’examen des objets conservés dans les collections du Musée national de Damas. Le corpus est constitué pour l’essentiel de vases. Une première analyse permet de présenter une série de vases inédits, dont plusieurs pièces remarquables appartenant aux fabriques locales et mycéniennes. Ces dernières viennent augmenter le répertoire iconographique connu à ce jour. Les figurines, peu nombreuses, feront l’objet d’une étude ultérieure. Si la plupart des découvertes sont associées au bâtiment palatial du Bronze récent, un ensemble de vases, datés du Bronze moyen II, provient de sépultures en relation avec un niveau d’occupation du Bronze moyen antérieur à la construction du Palais royal.
