No Canadian affiliation. An affiliation-only frame, the usual design, would never have seen this work. It is one of the works that make the case for inverting the frame.

Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

AbstractWe analyze the normative components that regulate the vision and the look, in a men’s sauna (of a mixed gym). Far from being a spontaneous act, free and reflex, the vision is subject to an institutionalized process of gender. We focus attention on a sauna because it introduces a particularly relevant aspect in the construction of the gender mandates of hegemonic and dissident masculinities bodies. What can be seen and what is not, how it is seen and what is taught of the naked bodies. In this space, the mechanism of dressing operates inversely. If in everyday life what we cover is to be able to make visible what cannot be seen,in the sauna we teach what should not be seen. This allows us to explicitly highlight the limits of these gender mandates, their performance and their link with desire and pleasure. The empirical materials come from the auto ethnographic research «The social and gender production of senses. The Case of a Gym».Keywords: Embodiment, Changing Room, Heteronormativity, Masculinities, Dissidence

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
