La créativité dans la production de fictions télévisées en France : une notion en trompe-l’œil ?

Abstract
La créativité des fictions télévisées françaises est un sujet récurrent de débat en France. Cet article interroge la notion de créativité dans sa capacité à structurer l’organisation au prisme des interactions entre producteurs et diffuseurs. Après avoir présenté les spécificités du marché de l’audiovisuel et des dispositifs de politique culturelle qui instaurent la créativité comme notion centrale, nous montrons que l’organisation de la production audiovisuelle est structurée artificiellement autour de la notion de créativité qui intervient comme façade en trompe-l’œil des relations entre producteurs et diffuseurs. Pour cela, nous interrogeons le caractère chimérique de la créativité. Nous montrons qu’elle s’efface au sein des relations commerciales qui favorisent in fine la logique de la demande au détriment de celle de l’offre. Puis, nous intéressant de plus près aux interactions du monde de l’art, nous appréhendons la créativité comme figure, paravent communicationnel, mobilisé comme un levier d’influence dans les rapports professionnels. Cette analyse s’appuie sur un corpus de 16 entretiens qualitatifs réalisés auprès de producteurs indépendants et de diffuseurs.
