Abstract
À l’ère de la société du savoir, l’université reçoit des pressions pour s’engager davantage dans la fertilisation de l’innovation au sein des collectivités desservies. Un cadre d’analyse fut distillé de la riche littérature qui illustre quatre principaux modes d’engagements, soit relationnel, entrepreneurial, systémique et médiateur. Depuis cinq décennies, les cinq universités du Québec (UQ) en région représentent à cet effet des laboratoires intéressants. Les données exposées proviennent principalement des rapports annuels. Notre analyse permet de mieux comprendre l’apport universitaire à l’intelligence collective dans des régions en processus de transition. Des leçons et des recommandations peuvent en être avancées.
