Abstract
L’élaboration d’un indice global des fonctions de l’entreprise (marketing, opération, ressources humaines, managériale et financière) nous a indiqué que la fonction la plus modifiée par les entreprises moyennement expérimentées (MEX) et expérimentées (EX) en période de turbulence négative (2007–2010) est le marketing. Cet élément s’explique principalement par les efforts marketing fournis par ces entreprises. Les groupes MEXTN et EXTN ont réalisé plus de démarches auprès de partenaires d’affaires afin d’identifier de nouveaux projets. Elles ont également présenté à leur clientèle de nouveaux produits ou services en plus forte proportion et ont orienté davantage la promotion de leurs produits et services vers de nouvelles clientèles. Bref, qu’elles soient MEX ou EX, leurs actions stratégiques sur le plan de la fonction marketing ont été plus actives en contexte de turbulence négative.
