Abstract
A partir de 1961 , Max Aub publica brevísimos relatos bajo el título “De suicidios” en la Revista de la Universidad de México , que serán incluidos en las sucesivas ediciones de Crímenes ejemplares. Varios de estos suicidios fueron ilustrados y llevados a la historieta. Algunas de estas lecturas visuales se centran en el lado absurdo y metafórico del lenguaje que postulan estos “suicidios”. Otras echan luz sobre el nivel de indeterminación condensado en la brevedad del relato. Y en casi todas ellas se refuerza la función desacralizadora y lúdica de la risa respecto a la muerte. Al expandir las posibilidades significativas del microrrelato, constituyen obras de valor artístico propio.
