Le sous-titre de cet ouvrage peut porter à confusion, car je vois dans cet imposant volume, impliquant pas moins de trente collaborateurs, beaucoup plus qu'une introduction à l'entrepreneuriat.Ses cinq parties (Le cadre -La démarche -Les méthodes -L'évolution -Les facettes) partagées en 22 chapitres couvrent on ne peut mieux l'ensemble du sujet.Pour ce faire, Frank Jansen, professeur d'entrepreneuriat à Louvain-la-Neuve, entre autres, viceprésident de l'AIRIPME, a fait appel à quatorze de ses compatriotes auxquels se sont ajoutés surtout des spécialistes français ainsi que deux Québécoises.Il s'agit d'enseignants-chercheurs au sein d'institutions reconnues ou des responsables d'organismes reliés au monde de la création d'entreprises.Cette deuxième édition mise à jour à la faveur de précieuses références bibliographiques, tout en contenant de nouveaux chapitres abordant des approches devenues incontournables, offre une préface de mon collègue P. A. Julien de l'UQTR.Ce dernier, il va sans dire, n'exige pas de présentation pour les lecteurs d'O&T.Pour justifier cette édition sept ans après la première, le préfacier attire l'attention sur l'apport significatif de la littérature des années récentes en insistant en particulier -et j'y reviendrai -sur la théorie de l'effectuation et l'agir entrepreneurial qui, à ses yeux, donne une dimension particulière à cette édition.
