Abstract
L’être humain est naturellement prédisposé à la bonté. Ceci a été constaté au travers de recherches en neurobiologie, psychologie du bébé, économie expérimentale, etc. Même les guerres et les génocides sont plus facilement explicables par des processus psychosociaux et de contexte (conditionnement général des esprits, soumission à l’autorité, augmentation de la distance physique entre le tueur et ses victimes) que par un prétendu atavisme biologique. La conception égoïste de l’être humain, diffusée par la majorité des économistes, est aujourd’hui contredite par les connaissances scientifiques contemporaines. Celles-ci nous invitent à porter sur l’être humain un regard « optiréaliste » et à envisager l’émergence d’une société convivialiste.
