Abstract
Si les pouvoirs publics français se sont saisis de la question de parentalité de manière particulièrement importante dans les dernières années pour l’élaboration de politiques sanitaires et sociales, peu de recherches ciblent les parents en tant que pourvoyeurs d’informations sur leurs propres difficultés ou besoins. Utilisant des méthodes mixtes, cette enquête de rue auprès de 209 parents franciliens a permis de montrer que l’exercice de la parentalité était souvent simultanément gratifiant et problématique, particulièrement pour les parents cumulant des difficultés d’ordre social et économique. La discussion contribue à une réflexion plus globale sur les enjeux contemporains de la prévention précoce.
