Abstract
Desde la primera experiencia en 1983 en la Canadian Opera, la sobretitulacion de las representaciones operisticas se ha generalizado y apenas quedan teatros que no hayan adoptado el sistema. Los sobretitulos han contribuido a enriquecer la experiencia del publico que, en general, ya no contempla una representacion sin ellos, aunque no siempre los siga.
