Los sermones de Bernat de Déu, OFM en el contexto de la predicación antijudía medievaL
Bibliographic record
Abstract
Some sermons and articles of the Summa praedicabilium by Bernat de Deu, OFM (active in the first quarter of 14th century) refer to the Jews. Given the scarcity of Hispanic sermons from the early fourteenth century, the analysis ofthese sermons in the context of the most recent studies on the subject can fill the void in research pertaining to Medieval Hispanic preaching. Among the sources used by Bernat de Deu there are works already well-known by then such as theDialogues against the Jews of Pedro Alfonso or long standing narrative examples, but there are also fragments from the Extractiones de Talmud (written for the trial of the Talmud of 1240 in Paris) or several works of Ramon Marti, publishedat the time. Regarding both the tone and sources, Bernat de Deu appears as an important preacher for understanding the evolution of preaching in the early fourteenth century, his role in the formation of hatred against the Jews, and his relationship to the religious polemic of the day.

Machine scores (provisional)
The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.
Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
