Le présent article fait une synthèse analytique des écrits sur les déterminants de la croissance des PME. Il propose un point sur les théories connues et met en relief ces déterminants en les catégorisant. L’écrit met aussi en exergue les points de vue convergents et divergents des auteurs par rapport aux déterminants et nuance les apports respectifs des auteurs. Hormis ce point, l’étude mets en lumière le cas africain en analysant les facteurs qui affectent la croissance de ses entreprises. L’article propose en bout de ligne, un modèle théorique issu de la catégorisation des déterminants.
