Abstract

Araştırmanın amacı ortaöğretim düzeyinde okuyan öğrencilerin aleksitimi düzeyleri ile iletişim becerileri arasındaki ilişkiyi incelemektir. Araştırma ilişkisel tarama modelinde desenlenmiştir. Çalışma grubunu Amasya il merkezindeki liselerde öğrenim gören 395 kadın 393 erkek toplamda 788 öğrenci oluşturmuştur. Araştırmanın verileri ‘Toronto Aleksitimi Ölçeği’ ve ‘İletişim Becerileri Envanteri’ ile toplanmıştır. Verilerin analizinde Pearson Momentler Çarpımı Korelasyonu, Basit Regresyon Analizi, Çoklu Regresyon Analizi, T testi ve MANOVA kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda, aleksitimi düzeyi ile iletişim becerisi arasında negatif yönde yüksek dereceli ilişki olduğu, aleksitimi düzeyinin iletişim becerileri üzerinde anlamlı bir etkiye sahip olduğu ve öğrencilerin aleksitimi düzeyleri ile iletişim becerileri arasında cinsiyetin anlamsal bir farklılığa yol açtığı sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.
