La création lexicale comme outil didactique en mapudungun : vers une perspective métalinguistique et intergénérationnelle

Abstract
Cet article présente les réflexions menées par les auteures sur la création lexicale dans la langue des Mapuche, le mapudungun – langue indigène actuellement parlée au Chili et en Argentine – et sur la transposition au domaine de l’enseignement-apprentissage en contexte urbain. La présence du mapudungun dans divers contextes contemporains, mais surtout son intégration au monde académique, a fait de la création de néologismes un phénomène tant au niveau lexical que sociolinguistique. Actuellement, il n’existe aucune étude achevée sur les néologismes générés en contexte d’enseignement-apprentissage du mapudungun. L’existence de nouveaux espaces à l’image des salles de classe à l’université dans un contexte urbain ainsi que l’origine citadine des apprenants nous invitent à réfléchir la manière de penser et d’apprendre la langue à travers une approche métalinguistique et intergénérationnelle.
