Abstract
O presente estudo objetiva investigar como se configura a construção identitária dos protagonistas das obras O olho de vidro de meu avô, de Bartolomeu Campos de Queirós (2004), e Aos 7 e aos 40, de João Anzanello Carrascoza (2013), por meio de seus relatos memorialísticos. Na análise destas obras, busca-se, a partir das contribuições da Estética da Recepção (ISER, 1999 e 1996), refletir sobre como ambas projetam seu leitor implícito. Justifica-se a eleição desses livros, pois se situam em um gênero marcado pela crítica social, prosa poética e reflexão sobre o fazer ficcional. Por isto, constrói-se, neste texto, a hipótese de que possuem potencialidades para despertar o senso crítico do jovem leitor, ampliar seus horizontes de expectativa e desautomatizar seus conceitos prévios acerca do uso da linguagem.
