Abstract
La fortification de Montréal-de-Sos est située sur un promontoire dominant la vallée montagnarde du Vicdessos, affluent de l’Ariège. Au cœur du versant nord des Pyrénées, cet ouvrage s’inscrit dans un espace limitrophe des vallées andorranes et catalanes. Une enquête documentaire a permis d’établir l’importance du site.
